Holding it all or growing the new...choose one.

There is only so much space in the garden...any garden:
an earthly one or even the inner metaphoric garden... Weeding is essential to any plans of growing the new and beautiful ...or even sustaining the "this doesn't suck" present.

My "No" defines me as much (or more) as the things I say yes to.
When I try to hold it all, I get muddled when I need clarity.  I get overwhelmed when I need flow. Like gardeners (and Kahil Gibran) know, pruning directs growth.

• For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you.
