It's a book about the wisest things I know.
As a hospice chaplain ...and a daughter, it's a fieldguide...to caregiving because:
This showing up is messy and tough work, which inherently explodes some inner minefields for us all of whatever unresolved stuff we hold. (Stuff= stories that got baked in pretty good before we knew we were in an oven...) This book is about taking care from the only place of power we have to stand – from the inside–while doing what must be done.
Yet, there are ways to make the process easier and more compassionate for all.
Want ways to do caregiving in easier, better and ...
(dare I say it) more fun ways?
Consider yourself invited...and thank you for all you do.
As a hospice chaplain ...and a daughter, it's a fieldguide...to caregiving because:
- Learned wisdom (and lived wisdom) is grounded in life. When we show up with what we are, it is enough.
- This wisdom is further supported by the perspective of a working hospice chaplain, which I subsequently became.

"Bought this last week. Not just for chaplain’s
as I understood when I saw title. A great read
for any caregiver."

"I started reading your book ...and was hooked
by the end of chapter one. An informative,
compassionate read by someone
who has walked the walk."
