Giving care is a circle that sustains us at the edge of change.
If so, why is caregiving so hard?
Could your's be easier, better &...(dare I say it) more fun ?
Consider yourself invited...into a book about the wisest things I know. It's a field guide...to giving care, which I learned by showing up as a daughter, & then as a hospice chaplain, which I subsequently became.
This showing up is messy and tough work, which inherently explodes some inner minefields for us all of whatever unresolved stuff we hold. (Stuff= stories that got baked in pretty good before we knew we were in an oven...) This book is about taking care from the only place of power we have to stand – from the inside–while doing what must be done. When we show up wholly, with what we are, it is, by definition, enough.
Yet, there are ways to make the process easier and more compassionate for all.
...and, by the way, thank you for all you do.

- It's field tested on the frontlines of life, and

"Bought this last week. Not just for chaplain’s
as I understood when I saw title. A great read
for any caregiver."

"I started reading your book ...and was hooked
by the end of chapter one. An informative,
compassionate read by someone
who has walked the walk."

from My Sight ( 'the little blue book')
